Way back in 2004, fellow doll artist Dorit Shendzielortz contacted me to say that HGTV's Carol Duvall Show was interested in doing a segment on her. To be cost effective, they wanted to know if there was another doll artist that the crew could tape while they were in the neighborhood; so to speak. Dorit was kind enough to pass along my name. Needless to say, it was a very interesting experience. The crew and producer were outstanding. The HGTV Carol Duvall segment Handmade Felt Sculptures ran quite a few times over the years. I finally transferred the segment from DVD. You can either watch the small version here or go to my new YouTube Channel TiberoseStudio for the larger version.
I'm working on some new projects and will keep the updates coming. Remember to check out the upcoming events: Susan & Terry Quinlan's Philadelphia Show and the Annual NIADA Conference and Dollmaking School in Stamford. Thanks everyone.
Cheers,
Deborah
I also remember seeing this episode. I was inspired and learned from you to use oil pastels to color the felted face.
